Keep in mind when planting that Hot Mix is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.Germination occurs at 65-75 degrees F.
Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 7.02 inches (18.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.39 inches (1.0 cm).Sow seeds in the garden and thin seedlings to 4-8" apart or start in seed beds and transplant in late spring into rich, well-drained soil.
Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Hot Mix is a hardy plant.
