Strawberry 'Sweetheart'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Sweetheart is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in loamy and clay soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.0 and 7.5 as Sweetheart likes to be in moderately acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.0 inches (0.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 20°C / 68°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Sweetheart is a hardy plant.
