Strawberry 'Alice'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Alice is generally regarded as a hardy plant, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Alice needs a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 5.0 to 7.5 (moderately acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Aim to sow 0.0 inches (0.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 20°C / 68°F.

Alice is hardy, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
