Romaine lettuce 'Verte Mar'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Verte Mar is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Ideally plant in loamy, potting mix and clay soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.2 and 6.8 as Verte Mar likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 5°C / 41°F to ensure good germination.
