Beetroot 'Crapaudine'

Crapaudine likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Crapaudine is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips. Crapaudine needs a loamy soil with a ph of 6.5 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil to neutral soil).

Look to ensure a distance 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.78 inches (2.0 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 13°C / 55°F to ensure good germination.
