How to grow Snow Pea 'Shiraz'
Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Shiraz is thought of as half hardy, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 6.5 as Shiraz likes to be in weakly acidic soil.
Growing Shiraz from seed
Aim to sow 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.
Transplanting Shiraz
Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Shiraz is a half hardy plant.
