Spearmint 'Tashkent'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Tashkent is thought of as hardy, so Tashkent will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Tashkent requires a loamy, potting mix and clay soil with a ph of 6.5 - 7.0 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Look to ensure a distance 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Tashkent is a hardy plant.
