Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Spanish Pointed is thought of as hardy, so Spanish Pointed will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Spanish Pointed needs a loamy, potting mix and clay soil with a ph of 6.5 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil to neutral soil).

Look to ensure a distance 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Spanish Pointed is a hardy plant.
