Spearmint 'Irish'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Irish is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Irish requires a loamy, potting mix and clay soil with a ph of 6.5 - 7.0 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm).

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Irish is a hardy plant.
