Melon 'Green Machine'

Easy to grow. Make sure you water it well in dry weatehr but stop watering when the fruit is about to ripen. Wet weatehr while ripening will stop them from getting sweet.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Green Machine is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to ensure that temperatures are mild before moving outdoors. Green Machine needs a potting mix and loamy soil with a ph of 6.1 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Easy to germinate. Sow seeds in situ in warm climates or germinate in punnets and plant out after risk of frost has passed in cool areas.

Aim to sow 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 4.88 feet (1.50 metres). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 19°C / 66°F.
