Melon 'Early-Dew'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Early-Dew is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in potting mix and loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.5 as Early-Dew likes to be in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 1.88 feet (58.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.5 inches (1.27 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Early-Dew about 14 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Early-Dew is a hardy plant.
