Melon 'Castella'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Castella is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in potting mix and loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.5 as Castella likes to be in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Sow 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 1.88 feet (58.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.
