Melon 'Cool Green'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Cool Green is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Planting Cool Green in potting mix and loamy soil with a ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Aim to sow 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 1.88 feet (58.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.
