Melon 'Far North'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Far North is thought of as hardy, so Far North will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Ensure your soil is potting mix and loamy and has a ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 as Melon is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Look to ensure a distance 1.88 feet (58.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.
