Watermelon 'Kleckley's Sweet'

Keep in mind when planting that Kleckley's Sweet is thought of as tender, so remember to ensure that temperatures are mild before moving outdoors. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.5 and 7.5 as Kleckley's Sweet likes to be in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Aim to sow 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 8.12 feet (2.50 metres). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Kleckley's Sweet is a tender plant.
