Watermelon 'Early Moonbeam'

Early Moonbeam is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to ensure that temperatures are mild before moving outdoors. Early Moonbeam needs a soil ph of 6.5 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil).

Aim to sow 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 8.12 feet (2.50 metres). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 16°C / 61°F.

Early Moonbeam is tender, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
