Drumstick allium 'Hair'

Plant them in the fall when it is cool, but the ground is still workable. Grown by dividing rhizomes, tubers, corms or bulbs (including offsets)

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Hair is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Hair is a hardy plant.

The species is native to southern Europe, northern Africa, & western Asia, but the mutated form ‘Hair’ erupted spontaneously in a wholesale grower’s field-grown stock.¹
