Onion 'Saffron F1'

Position in a full sun location and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Saffron F1 is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Saffron F1 needs a loamy, clay and sandy soil with a ph of 6.0 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil to neutral soil).

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.98 inches (2.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 13°C / 55°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Saffron F1 is a very hardy plant.
