Elegance likes a position of full sun and remember to water often. Elegance is generally regarded as a very hardy plant, so this plant will typically do well in a variety of different extremes of cold temperature. Elegance needs a loamy and sandy soil with a ph of 6.0 to 6.5 (weakly acidic soil).

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) between Carrot plants. For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 16°C / 61°F.
