Carrot 'Artemis f1'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Artemis f1 is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Planting Artemis f1 in loamy and sandy soil with a ph of between 6.0 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

As Artemis f1 is very hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
