Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Roly poly is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Planting Roly poly in loamy and sandy soil with a ph of between 6.0 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Roly poly from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.
