Lathyrus odoratus

How to grow Sweet pea 'Pixie princess'

Likes a sunny position, well-drained.

Growing Pixie princess from seed

Water the bed well the day before planting, then sow direct where the plants will grow. Don’t water the bed again until after the seedlings have emerged. Cover the seeds well with soil because they’ll only germinate in the dark.

Don’t throw away dark shrivelled seeds, these apparently tend to produce the darker coloured flowers.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 2.34 inches (6.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.98 inches (2.5 cm).
