Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Blue Star is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions.

Growing Blue Star from seed

Try to ensure a gap of at least 3.90 feet (1.20 metres) when sowing to prevent overcrowding your seedlings.

Transplanting Blue Star

1. Dig hole 2 times width the pot
2. Pick up by root ball and place in hole even with ground level
3. Backfill with Tree & Shrub Garden Soil to ground level and tamp
4. Apply Continuous Release Fertilizer as directed
5. Form water basin. Water with Root Stimulator as directed
6. Add 3" layer of mulch around base
7. Water once per week (in lieu of rain) for the first year

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Blue Star is a very hardy plant.
