  • Full Sun

  • Medium

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Iris is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months. Planting Iris in loamy and clay soil with a ph of between 6.1 and 7.8 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.
