Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Miss Kelly is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Ideally plant in loamy and clay soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.8 as Miss Kelly likes to be in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Miss Kelly is a very hardy plant.
