How to grow Curly leaf parsley 'Krausa'

  • Partial Sun

  • Medium

Plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Krausa is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Planting Krausa in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.6 and 6.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Krausa from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.25 inches (0.64 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Krausa about 35 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting Krausa

As Krausa is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
