Lavender Lady is not the same plant as ‘Amethyest’ as is often stated, although because of the naming confusion many Lavender Lady’s sold are in fact P. amethystina.

Introduced in 1982, Lavender Lady is actually a hybrid of P. amethystina & P. caerulea by Patrick Worley
