Astilbe 'Sugar Plum'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Sugar Plum is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.6 and 7.5 as Sugar Plum likes to be in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Aim for a seed spacing of approx. 1.46 feet (45.0 cm).

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Sugar Plum is a hardy plant.
