Astilbe 'Pink Lightning'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Pink Lightning is thought of as hardy, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. A soil ph of between 5.6 and 7.5 is ideal for Pink Lightning as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Aim for a seed spacing of approx. 1.46 feet (45.0 cm).

As Pink Lightning is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
