How to grow Botterblom 'Tanager'

Needs to grow in loam, sandy or clay soils, with moderate to dry conditions. A regular watering schedule during the first growing season will establish a deep root system. Space plants 6 to 10 inches apart. Control weeds until the plants have filled in. A general purpose fertilizer in spring will get these plants to a good start.1

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water very sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Tanager is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.
