French marigold 'Orange Winner'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Orange Winner is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips.

Sow February-March under glass in gentle heat. Can be sown direct outdoors in April-May for flowers June-September.

Transplant seedlings spaced 5cm apart in trays and grow on in good light. Acclimatise plants before planting 15-23 cm apart in an open sunny position.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Orange Winner is a half hardy plant.
