How to grow Garden Gladiolus 'Tampico'
Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Tampico is thought of as half hardy, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.7 and 7.0 as Tampico likes to be in weakly acidic soil - neutral soil.
Growing Tampico from seed
Aim to sow 4.29 inches (11.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 7.02 inches (18.0 cm).
Transplanting Tampico
Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around 2°C / 36°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Tampico is a half hardy plant.
Harvesting Tampico
This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by mid summer.
