Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Summer Rose is thought of as half hardy, so although it can survive a small mild cold snap, it is wise to ensure that this plant is protected from frost damage. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.7 and 7.0 as Summer Rose likes to be in weakly acidic soil - neutral soil.

Sow 4.29 inches (11.0 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 7.02 inches (18.0 cm).

Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around 2°C / 36°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Summer Rose is a half hardy plant.

This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by mid summer.
