Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Calimero is thought of as tender, so it is really important to ensure that the outside temperature is well above freezing before planting or moving outdoors. Ensure your soil is potting mix, loamy and silty and has a ph of between 5.5 and 7.5 as Sweet pepper is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Look to ensure a distance 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 20°C / 68°F to ensure good germination.
