Spinach 'Hal cat'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Hal cat is thought of as half hardy, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.0 and 7.0 as Hal cat likes to be in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Aim to sow 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.12 inches (8.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 8°C / 46°F to ensure good germination.
