How to grow Daffodil 'Fortune'

Try to keep on the dry side during the summer. Prefers a well-drained, acidic soil.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Fortune is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea).

Growing Fortune from seed

Will not come true from seed.

Aim to sow 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).

Transplanting Fortune

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Fortune is a hardy plant.
