Florence fennel 'Chiarino'

Chiarino likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Chiarino is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. A soil ph of between 6.1 and 7.8 is ideal for Chiarino as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Sow 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 0.98 inches (2.5 cm).

As Chiarino is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
