Florence fennel 'Doux de Florence'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Doux de Florence is thought of as hardy, so Doux de Florence will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Doux de Florence tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 6.1 and 7.8 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Look to ensure a distance 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Doux de Florence is a hardy plant.
