Flame likes a position of partial sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Flame is thought of as tender, so it is really important to ensure that the outside temperature is well above freezing before planting or moving outdoors. Flame requires a soil ph of 6.2 - 6.8 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Look to ensure a distance 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 5°C / 41°F to ensure good germination.
