Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Looseleaf blend is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.8 and 6.8 as Looseleaf blend likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Sow 0.27 inches (0.7 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 7.8 inches (20.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 5°C / 41°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Looseleaf blend is a tender plant.
