Plum 'Herman'

Prune in early spring, limiting the chance of silver leaf infection and cankers. Midsummer pruning is okay for older trees. Remove dead wood in late summer or autumn.

Keep in mind when planting that Herman is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Herman is a hardy plant.
