How to grow Soybean 'early hakucho'
Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that early hakucho is thought of as half hardy, so it will require protection in frosts and low temperatures.
Growing early hakucho from seed
Sow at a depth of approx. 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 1.49 inches (3.81 cm) between Soybean plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 18°C / 64°F to ensure good germination.
Transplanting early hakucho
Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as early hakucho is a half hardy plant.
