A full sun position will ensure your plant thrives and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Black Pearl is thought of as half hardy, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather.

Aim to sow 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 1.49 inches (3.81 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 18°C / 64°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Black Pearl is a half hardy plant.
