Potato 'Cranberry red'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Cranberry red is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Cranberry red needs a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 5.0 to 6.0 (moderately acidic soil to weakly acidic soil).

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 5.85 inches (15.0 cm).

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Cranberry red about 14 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Cranberry red is a tender plant.
