Broad bean 'Early Long Pod'

Pinch out the top of the plants when pods are 7-10 cm long, to encourage an earlier crop of well filled pods, and to deter blackfly. Pick regularly to ensure a continuous supply.

Keep in mind when planting that Early Long Pod is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea).
