Chili pepper 'Hellfire mix'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Hellfire mix is generally regarded as a half hardy plant, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather. Hellfire mix needs a loamy and sandy soil with a ph of 7.0 to 8.5 (neutral soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Aim to sow 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 1.95 inches (5.0 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 18°C / 64°F.

Hellfire mix is half hardy, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
