Slugs and snails love pea plants and may eat them to the ground. Hand pick these pests off the ground in the early morning.

Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Little Marvel is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Planting Little Marvel in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Little Marvel from seed

Soak in water for 12 hours before planting.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.99 inches (2.54 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.
