Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Hendrick's is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips. Hendrick's requires a loamy soil with a ph of 5.5 - 6.5 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Hendrick's from seed

Look to ensure a distance 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

Transplanting Hendrick's

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Hendrick's is a half hardy plant.
