How to grow Pea 'Sienna'

  • Full Sun

  • High

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Sienna is generally regarded as a half hardy plant, so although it can survive a small mild cold snap, it is wise to ensure that this plant is protected from frost damage. Sienna needs a loamy soil with a ph of 5.5 to 6.5 (weakly acidic soil).

Growing Sienna from seed

Sow 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 2.97 inches (7.62 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 4°C / 39°F.

Transplanting Sienna

Sienna is half hardy, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
