Pea 'Maro'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Maro is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures. Ensure your soil is loamy and has a ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 as Pea is a weakly acidic soil loving plant.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.99 inches (2.54 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Maro is a half hardy plant.
